I somehow signed up to receive emails from a Christian group who’s purpose is to inform their readers about what’s going on in Washington politically and across the nation socially.

On the one hand it’s nice to know what’s going on in my country. It’s good to be informed.

On the other hand, it’s incredibly frustrating because there is a lot of injustice in the world and it feels like there is nothing I can do about it!

So, to combat this I decided to memorize Psalm 94, as a way to vent some of my feelings. It’s a great Psalm to say if you need to get out aggression. “How long oh Lord, how long will the wicked be jubilant! Rise up oh Judge of the earth!”, is how it starts. 🙂

I am so thankful God saw fit to remind us that He really is God and because of that, one day, there will be justice and vindication for His people.

One day God is coming down to right every wrong.

One day God will show Himself as God over this world and those who have attached themselves to the God of Israel, by the faithfulness of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, will rise with Him and the earth will see we belong to Him.

Even now we are part of His people and God takes care of His own.

Be encouraged, believer, despite the injustice in this world; there is a lot that is unfair and not right. But a day is coming when this world will be forced to acknowledge our God and the Covenant we are in with Him. The world will see the folly of its choices and the wrongness of its decisions. But you, believer, in Covenant with God through the faithfulness of the Son, your faith will be made sight. You will be vindicated and made complete.

Because your God is God alone.
