Jericho: The oldest city on Earth. We have arch remains from 8,000 BC. And in all this time they still haven’t put in ramps for the Wheel Chair accessible bathrooms. For shame!

If you’re not understanding this- I’m going to wait for my mom to comment. And, no I didn’t write this- Bryan did. I love my mother.
Please keep posting. I fell off the earth for a week and have to get caught up, but I am enjoying reading what is happening with you. It makes me feel like you aren’t really in a dangerous place that could become a war zone at any moment.
I also enjoy learning about where you have been and what you have seen/done. Keep posting. Just think – when you come back, you’ll have a journal that you can print off and keep.
We are gearing up for the Pumpkin Patch here. Last night I worked on the pie dough – and froze it. Mike is uber busy working on a landscaping job over by Lake Michigan – Bryan – we need you – it involves a rock wall. I know how you love installing those!
School is going well – the high school gig isn’t too bad. Today we had to do a Persuasive Writing in our second hour and the writings had to be pertinent to the subject we teach. I had the kids write about whether or not we should allow students to use calculators in math class. It was very interesting!
Chris and Alison are doing well. This is the year of the wedding – aside from their own, they have attended or will attend a total of 8 weddings this year! Wow!

Well, I’m off to grade papers…
Love, K
Are there coin operated bathrooms over there? I’d happily get rid of ramps to also make using the bathrooms free!
