Well, Bry has been gone since last Sunday and I am sooooooooo ready for him to be home. I think I say this every time he leaves – I don’t know how single parents do it. I love my children but I am soooooo ready for daddy! And I’m sure they are too.
A HUGE thank you to my parents and parents-in-law for ALL the help 🙂 I honestly don’t know how any of us would survive the week w/o you 🙂
My older sister also gave me a good tip for when the hubby leaves – stay busy, make it fun, and do different things. Well, we’ve definitely been staying busy and I’ve been trying to make it fun and different. Tonight we’re doing waffles and ice cream for dinner. One night we had shakes (for a snack). We did pizza and a movie another night for dinner. We rented Cars 2 and we’re now on our second time through it 🙂 Last night I let the kids stay up late and watch a movie instead of getting in to bed on time… BUT, I’m still ready for another parent around here…
