“We knew He was dead. It is finished, He said. We had watched as His life ebbed away. Then we all stood around till the guards took Him down. Joseph begged for His body that day.
It was late afternoon when we got to the tomb, wrapped His body, and sealed up the grave. So I know how you feel, His death was so real, but please listen and hear what I say.
I’ve just seen Jesus. I tell you He’s alive
I’ve just seen Jesus, our precious Lord alive
And I knew He really saw me too and it’s as if till now I’ve never lived.
All that I’ve done before won’t matter anymore bc I’ve just seen Jesus
And I’ll never be the same again.
I’ve just seen Jesus!”
I hope and pray it is the fervent prayer of the leadership of each Church that the people who attend there would see Jesus and even more amazingly that He would see His people. This Man among men. The Incarnation of the thrice holy God.The One in whom the fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily. May you see Him and may He see you.
You see it is not simply going to a building on Sunday morning, singing nice songs, hearing a message or even leaving money in the offering that will change you. It is an up close and personal meeting with the Son of the Living God that will change you.
So… wherever you attend
may you meet with Him this Sunday.
May you see Him.
May you hear His voice.
May you know His love.
May you be awed by His Word.
May you be filled with His Spirit.
May you praise His Name.
People that see Jesus are never the same again. And now we see through a glass darkly. Then we shall see face to face. What a day that will be!
May you see even a glimpse of your Savior this day. May you fall at His feet and worship Him to the praise of His Father in heaven. May you see Jesus and may He see you.
