Great podcast! I was so excited to gain a better understanding of Jesus’ statement, (which I never really understood) “the kingdom of God is within you.” I love now knowing that wherever God is ruling and reigning is where the Kingdom of God is. It makes you want to focus on letting Him rule and reign more. I thank God and I thank you for being His instruments to teach His truths!
Regarding a recent experience I had with yeast…
I put the yeast in warm water with a little honey, but not much happened (it was supposed to bubble up and look alive). I added the flour and salt and put it in what I thought was a warm place; it still didn’t seem very active even after an hour. (It was supposed to double in size.) It wasn’t until I preheated my oven and then turned it off and put the loaf in to rise that it finally did what it was supposed to. It finally doubled in size and became a good loaf of bread.
Takeaway…sometimes to bear fruit or to become effective at spreading the kingdom of God, more heat has to be applied and you can’t give up because if you are patient and hang in there with faith and the right circumstances, fruit will be born.
Wow, good example! Thank you for sharing 🙂
