Ps 95:1-7 “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In His hands are the depths of the earth, and the mountains peaks belong to Him. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His car.
Today, may we not focus on potential trials and tribulations that may come.
May we not focus on the frustrating week we may be having.
May we not even focus on the specific cares and concerns that weigh us down.
This morning, may we focus on the fact that our God is the everlasting God.
That our days are in His hands.
That His word is true.
He is faithful and can be trusted.
Let us rejoice in the reality that our God gives strength to His people when they are weary and holds up the weak when they have nothing left.
Let us praise the Name of our God that it is a strong tower where we can run to and be saved.
Let us acknowledge the truth that God is our Shield, our Defender, our exceedingly great reward.
Let us rest in the assurance that our God is on the throne, He is in control. And He knows exactly what He is doing.
This morning oh Church, let us rejoice! Let our praises rise to the heavens as we worship the Lord our God. The One who is from everlasting to everlasting. He has no beginning. He has no end. He is the Lord and He is Lord alone. One day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
It’s only a matter of time.
Rejoice, believer, sing for joy to the Lord. Should aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.
