In this episode Veronica and Erika slow down their discussion as they begin a new portion of the book of Exodus.  They are calling this part “God covenants.”  They define a covenant and share the multiple images God uses to describe His relationship with Israel.

Questions to Consider:

What images can you think of that God uses to define His relationship with Israel?  Why is it necessary to have more than one image?

What images does God use to describe Himself?

What is the significance of Israel being a kingdom of priests?

The Israelites were commanded to wash their clothes in preparation of Exodus 20.  What are ways you show your honor to God and to His Word?

How many times does Moses go up and down the mountain?

Veronica mentions the book “Bruchko.
