If it helps anyone, I’ve used mnemonics to help me memorize. I’ve always had trouble with memorization. God brought me to this method:).
Example:
I’ll write the whole verse(or as many verses that fit) on one side of an index card. So, vs 1: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will find refuge in the shadow of the Almighty..
On the other side I’ll put the first letter of each word. Ex:
H w d i t s o t M H….
I say it out loud. I love the suggestions you gave about emphasizing words! Will be adding that!
